Tucked away in the desert these days ... been writing songs a'plenty on the dark folksy / country-noir-esque side of things, and will start recording some of those shortly. Other than that, I've been playing a bunch with good pals all round-a-bouts the old Pueblo ... band/buds like Proper Operator, Neon Eon, Tom Heavy and the Party Makers (which, yes, absolutely, is a Tom Petty cover band, turned up to 11), etc ... check them all out on the interwebs. In December I'll be playing here and there in town and up in Phoenix (see the shows with other bands bit to the left), including a Hall and Oates tribute at The Great Cover Up, and the annual Y La Orkesta NYE bash (with bonafied luchadores!) at the Rialto Theatre, and in December we're shooting over to NYC for the Global Fest at Webster Hall.
And that's about the skinny on the Wintertime musings ... marvin is pretty well busted, in a bag, chilling. I'll get him outta hock someday, but, until then, I'll be performing solo or with a band as I have been the past while. I'll probably schedule more Cloud Wall shows coming up when we return from NY in February.
